We believe in making reiki available to everyone. Sessions here are offered on a sliding scale, and additional financial support is available if needed - simply ask.

Three appointment times are available on the hour: 11:00, 12:00, and 1:00.
You’re welcome to reserve one or combine two for an extended session.

What to Expect
You’ll rest fully clothed on a massage table while gentle, non-invasive touch helps balance your body’s energy. Many people experience deep relaxation, warmth, or subtle movement of energy. No prior experience with reiki is needed - come as you are. Note: It is possible here that there will be multiple people receiving reiki at the same time, we view this as a sacred opportunity to be in a shared container of healing. Please communicate If you wish to receive privately.

This is the first season for both Mudra Magazine and Reiki Clinics. So there’s a lot that hasn’t been put into place or developed yet - The goal for reiki clinics is to be a cornerstone of accessible energy work while building community around wellness, which will satisfy 1/3 of the current mission of Mudra Magazine.
LOCATIONS
Currently seeking open, warm and flexible space to allow multiple practitioners in Bath, Wiscasset, Waldoboro, Rockland and Camden. Ideal locations hold potential to offer Reiki to the community on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. If you have more information, please reach out.

WHAT ACTUALLY IS REIKI?
Describing Reiki in conventional language doesn’t really serve what’s actually at play. The modern answer might be something like, we don’t know.
Reiki is a simple practice of holding presence and witnessing, it is a connection to the oneness between us. In that witnessing, that expanding awareness of what becomes witnessed, things in our physical and emotional bodies may have previously been stuck or difficult to navigate can have the potential to be ready to clear out.. However, it’s better to not have these expectations as everything moves on its own time, and when we’re ready.
Reiki is not the practitioner healing the recipient. Rather it’s the practitioner offering themself as a channel for the recipient to do their own healing. This is a very important difference in the attitude that everyone present needs to be clear about. The nuance and care with which it requires for this container to be held properly and with integrity to our individual sovereign selves requires experience and understanding.
If it is your first time receiving, best to come with an open mind and just see how it goes.
